Scotland’s Opera Bohemia is back in Stirling with the world’s best
loved operetta, featuring a selection of famous songs including
Viljah, The Merry Widow Waltz and Chez Maxim’s. Set in the romantic
city of Paris, various suitors squabble to win the hand of the
recently widowed, but very wealthy Hannah Glawari. A stellar
professional cast includes Catriona Clark, Douglas Nairne, Marie
Claire Breen and Andrew McTaggart. John Wilkie directs, Alisa
Kalyanova designs, and Alistair Digges conducts the Bohemia Chamber
Orchestra.
