The Congregation at St Andrew’s, Callander are holding a Flower Festival and Organ Recital on 13th and 14th August.
Saturday / Sunday : 13 /14 August.
Open Saturday 10am – 4pm; Sunday 12noon – 4pm.
Admission free, donations welcome.
Morning coffee & afternoon teas available.
A small army of church mice will be invading the church during the Flower Fest @ St A’s. Made by the Knitters & Natters group, we hope younger visitors will enter the competition to count how many of the delightful wee creatures they can find during their visit.
A celebratory weekend – The weekend showcases some of the amazing work of a host of multi talented people who live in Callander. As well as all the eye-catching flower arrangements, the Felters and Quilters groups and Knitters and Natters will be exhibiting their work in the Lady Chapel – while a large group of local artists will be exhibiting lots of floral art, including water colours and postcards – that will also be available to buy.
Children’s painting competition – Pupils from both primary and High schools have entered a painting competition, with entries on display in the church hall to be judged by our visitors.’
Organ recital – Saturday 13 August, 7.30pm, admission £5 We are honoured to welcome David Spotiswoode, the hugely talented organist and choirmaster from St Ninian’s Glasgow, who will be giving an organ recital.
