The Very Revd Hunter Farquharson, who has served as Provost of St Ninian’s Cathedral for 24 years, is retiring at the end of July. Hunter has had an extraordinary ministry at the Cathedral, and in other charges in the Diocese before that, and will continue to live in the Diocese. Many in the Diocese, as well as the Cathedral congregation, will want to say thank you and farewell to Hunter as he starts a new chapter of life. Hunter’s final service, at which we will give thanks, will be Choral Evensong on Sunday 30th July at 3.00pm. Please pray for Hunter, and for the Cathedral, and please come to Evensong where you will be very welcome.
