On 17th July we shall resume our anual visit by the young ceilidh band Feis Fhiort. They are always good fun so please come and support these youngsters as they set out on their careers in traditional Scottish music.

As always, the concerts all start at 3 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, Aberfoyle, and last an hour, followed by tea. Entrance is by voluntary donation but places may be booked in advance by emailing emailing St Mary’s Aberfoyle aberfoyleconcerts@gmail.com

Art in the cathedral - their congregation's work towards the Diocesan Participative Art Project. You'll find more about the project on the diocesan website, published by the Diocesan Environment Group. Here's a summary:"The Diocese has launched an artistic activity drawing on our missional purpose that underlines all our climate change and wider environmental actions. It is intended to be enjoyed in each of our churches within the Diocese and when it comes together for Diocesan Synod 2025, the installation will bring hope, be thought-provoking and a sign of our discipleship.The activity is to colour in one (or more) of the leaf-shaped images and/or petals. This may be completed as individuals, as a group, as a study tool perhaps during Advent or Epiphany, in any way whatsoever. Simply print off the pages desired. On the feast day of the Epiphany, we give thanks that Christ's divine nature was revealed to people of all nations. This crib scene set up in the centre of Perth includes the "three kings", the wise men who travelled from the East to find the new King..In the time of King Herod, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, asking, "Where is the child who has been born king of the Jews? For we observed his star at its rising, and have come to pay him homage."When they saw that the star had stopped, they were overwhelmed with joy. On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother; and they knelt down and paid him homage.
