We welcome back the ever-popular Alastair Savage (fiddle), with his old friend Ewan Robertson, who has played here before and will be doing his usual mix of flute and whistle and also Gregor Blamey, who has not been here before, on piano and accordion.(He is bringing his own keyboard.) This promises to be another excellent mix of old and new, featuring some of Alastair’s own compositions, surely a joy to hear.
Those that missed Alan Kitchen’s recital last month should be kicking themselves – one of the most outstanding recitals yet.
The concert takes place on Sunday 17th September, 3 o’clock in St. Mary’s Aberfoyle, followed by tea, and entry by voluntary donation.
