St Margaret’s Rosyth offer a warm welcome for a performance of Stainer’s The Crucifixion at 6.00pm on Palm Sunday, 10 April in Rosyth Methodist Church. This is an extended Passiontide meditation in which the story of Holy Week is told by soloists and choir. There are hymns for the congregation to sing. St Margaret’s choir will be augmented by keen singers from local churches and choirs, accompanied on the organ by Willie Campbell from Dunfermline Abbey, and directed by Walter Thomson, the Choir Leader from Mayfield Salisbury Parish Church, Edinburgh.
