About Kirriemuir, St Mary’s

One of the earliest examples by renowned church architect, Sir Ninian Comper. Built in 1903 to replace an earlier church destroyed by fire, St Mary's Episcopal Church is the only A-Grade listed building in Kirriemuir. When you visit, look out for the strawberries hidden in the windows designed by Comper, and the window dedicated to JM Barrie's family.

    On the feast day of St Margaret of Scotland we pray especially for the congregations of St Margaret of Scotland, Leven; St Margaret of Scotland, Tayport; and St Margaret, Rosyth.
