Rededication of Scottish Church Collegiate School

The picture with cadets was taken at the rededication of the Scottish Church Collegiate School on 4 November 2019.

The school was founded in 1830 by Revd Alexander Duff, from Moulin, Pitlochry, who was the first Church of Scotland Missionary to come to India. The Head Teacher, Bivash Saniel, visited Edinburgh in June 2019 for the launch of the Asia Scotland Trust, whose aim is to develop new bilateral cultural relations between Asia and Scotland by disseminating knowledge of our shared cultural heritage and by identifying and promoting the restoration and development of specific sites and buildings which simultaneously frame the best of the past whilst opening opportunities for the future.

The Revd Canon Dr Robert Harley
