St Mary’s Birnam are seeking a part-time Priest in Charge

St Mary’s is seeking a part time Priest-in-Charge who is sensitive to the changing needs of the community, who is able to work collaboratively with community groups and other church denominations for the benefit of all. The Vestry wishes to recruit someone to serve for three days per week plus Sunday worship.

    On the feast day of St Barnabas we pray that we may share his gifts of encouraging the faint-hearted and remembering the poor, so that we may proclaim God’s word to others and bring them to know God for themselves.     On the feast day of St Columba we pray for the congregations of St Columba, Aberdour; St Columba, Crieff; and St Columba, Stanley. We give thanks for the ministry of St Columba, who travelled across the sea from Ireland to Scotland and founded Iona Abbey as a centre of mission.
