Showing of People’s Emergency Briefing Film On the climate and nature crisis

Diocesan Action in Season of Creation 2026

The Diocesan Environment Group is organising the showing of the People’s Emergency Briefing film in four of our churches across the Diocese, one in each of the Area Councils:  St Luke’s, Glenrothes, 14 September at 7pm; St John’s, Perth, 30 September at 7pm; Saint Andrew’s, St Andrews, date TBC; and St Andrew’s, Callander, date TBC. The film draws people’s attention to the impact of the climate and environment emergency. Introduced by Chris Packham, scientists and/or academics speak about their speciality. Beginning with weather, they explained how climate change could impact food, health, national security, nature, economics. Between each topic, Jennifer Saunders’ dark humour lightens the heavy atmosphere.
