It is delightful that the Norwegian Engegaard string quartet, who played for us so memorably just before lockdown, have asked to return and will be giving our 16th October concert, playing Schubert ‘Death and the Maiden’ quartet, the Schubert: Quartettsatz, D 703 in C minor, and a Mozart Divertimento – truly a recital to look forward to.

As always, the concerts all start at 3 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, Aberfoyle, and last an hour, followed by tea. Entrance is by voluntary donation but places may be booked in advance by emailing  St Mary’s Aberfoyle aberfoyleconcerts@gmail.com
